Video Feeds

We're continuing to fill out the Video for Member's section with new feeds for you to enjoy. Our latest additions are: Twinks Elite, Young Elite, Single Elite and Gay Movie of The Week (varied genre). As always, please let us know what you think of the new additions.

The merger of It's Dick into DOC and Ruff and Hot is complete, with the bulk of the photos that we plan to move uploaded into DOC. Ruff and Hot is still combing through the It's Dick pix and uploading new ones regularly.

Again, a warm WELCOME It's Dick users -- especially BigPollack, seanseattle, realman, blackmamba, BiJockCo, giver69, jeeper98, urraco, titusbright, con_muchas_ganas, and hogwild72.

We've awarded a contract to TCPip in Buenos Aires to develop the next generation DOC Chat web interface. Our expectation is that this will be up and running within 60 days. In the mean time, you can use iChat or Spark to log on to the new chat server and play.

Performance

Like they say, when it rains it pours. This month we've had several separate incidents which affected performance. Namely, we had a database index corruption, a denial of service attack against one of our networks and two hardware failures!

We'd like to thank our users for the encouraging, supportive emails while we worked through these issues and hope all of these problems are behind us! Hopefully, I won't have to see the inside of our data center at 2am again in a while (ever?!?).

As part of our ongoing commitment to performance of the site, we've subscribed to a site performance monitoring service that will monitor performance from 20 sites around the world and alert us when things start slowing down. We'll use this data to make future decisions about new network connections (especially to Europe) or network routing improvements. Once we get some data under our belt, we'll also publish these reports for our members to see.
